Infrastructure WA

Infrastructure WA's role is to provide advice and assistance to the WA Government on infrastructure matters. Looking at the medium to long term, our advice informs infrastructure investment decision-making and supports better outcomes for the people and economy of Western Australia.

The Infrastructure Western Australia Act 2019, which commenced in July 2019, sets out the functions and responsibilities of Infrastructure WA, some of which include:

We're on the hunt for passionate and talented people to help shape the future of WA's infrastructure. 

Recruitment is currently underway for a number of positions including administration, policy and governance roles. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an evolving team and help to positively influence the direction and culture of a relatively new government agency. 

Infrastructure WA will be visiting Karratha, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie in February 2020 for a series of Regional Stakeholders Engagement Forums as part of an ongoing regional engagement program. 

The sessions will give stakeholders in the Pilbara, Mid West and Goldfields Esperance regions the opportunity to find out about Infrastructure WA’s early operation and the development of Western Australia’s first State Infrastructure Strategy

In November and December 2019, Infrastructure WA undertook three Regional Stakeholders Engagement Forums in Broome, Bunbury and Albany. The presentations can be found here.  

In November and December 2019, Infrastructure WA visited Broome, Bunbury and Albany as part of a short series of Regional Stakeholders Engagement Forums. 

The sessions were an opportunity to learn about the establishment and early operation of Infrastructure WA and take part in a discussion on perspectives for WA’s first State Infrastructure Strategy. The forums were part of an ongoing consultation program that will facilitate regional input to the development of the Strategy.
