On August 16 we launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Nyungar Elder Neville Collard opened with a Welcome to Country and we were joined by Reconciliation WA, Development WA and Nani Creative sharing a morning tea by All Good Grub catering.

Infrastructure WA (IWA) has welcomed the WA Government’s response to Western Australia’s first ever State Infrastructure Strategy (Strategy), Foundations for a Stronger Tomorrow, released today.

Infrastructure WA (IWA) is pleased to announce Hon Jay Weatherill AO and Dr Richard Walley OAM as new members appointed to the Board and the reappointment of existing Board member Mr Peter Woronzow.

Terms of appointment to run until 31 December 2027.

IWA would also like to thank outgoing members, Ms Andrea Sutton and Mr Wayne Zekulich, who were both appointed in 2019 as part of the inaugural Board.

Greater infrastructure pipeline transparency, improving culture and wellbeing, and establishing commercial principles which emphasise fairer risk allocation and collaboration head the priority list of potential solutions that could unlock capacity within WA’s constrained construction sector.

The workshop held in early December and hosted by Infrastructure WA was attended by more than 50 representatives from 40 organisations, including industry bodies, unions and state government agencies and trading enterprises.
